Project Overview
The CTS Futang Residence is a premium resort landmark project developed by the state-owned CTS Investment on the national coastline of Haitang Bay, Sanya. Spanning approximately 200 acres, it comprises 903 units of large flat apartments with panoramic wide views with floor areas ranging from 142 to 600 sqm. As the only pure residential project on the golden central axis of Haitang Bay’s commercial district, it aims to create an ultimate improved residence for global elites, blending prosperity with nature and defining the future of tropical coastal living.
Design Philosophy and Highlights
Prime Location: Strategically positioned on the golden central axis of the National Coastline, surrounded by world-class luxury commercial complexes such as Sanya International Duty Free City, Taikoo Li (under construction), and Haitang Story, forming a unique and unparalleled high-end living circle.
Master Collaboration: Four internationally renowned masters — Peter Roper, Li Baozhang, Liang Jinghua, and Xiao Zhengheng — were invited to jointly oversee the architecture, landscape, and interior design, rejecting product duplication to create non-standardized, high-quality products with local characteristics.
Oceanic Architecture: The architecture adopts “dynamic ocean curves” as its design language, using aluminum panels and glass to present horizontal, flowing lines, creating a unique visual aesthetic of “a garden dwelling above the clouds, a floating residence upon the water.”
Tropical Rainforest Landscape: The landscape design follows the philosophy of “amidst prosperity, within nature, a life of fulfillment.” Through three-dimensional layers and tropical landscaping, it creates an immersive experience of “clouds in the sky, water on the earth, and people within the forest.” Each plot features an exclusive bespoke pool and three themed children’s parks.
Exquisite Spatial Design: The interiors feature column-free corner designs, wide-view glass balustrades, and large system windows and doors, achieving 180-360° panoramic views and an IMAX-style city living room, connecting every interior space with the surrounding scenery while softening the boundary between indoors and outdoors.

Prime Location Presentation: How to visually convey the project’s advantageous golden-axis location, surrounded by multiple luxury commercial complexes.
Scenario Diversity: The client requested visuals showcasing multiple atmospheric scenarios — daytime, nighttime, different seasons (tropical vibes), as well as interior living scenes within the residence.
Material & Detail Precision: Accurately representing the texture and interplay of light and shadow on materials such as aluminum panels, glass curtain walls, and tropical vegetation, as well as the luxurious finishing details and IMAX-level views inside the grand flats.
